About Us
Sterling General Corporation is a construction management and general contracting firm that was created in 1976. In 2001, we started a second company, Sterling Renaissance - North, L.L.C. Our mission has been to provide building services while acting as a member of the "construction team". We normally enter the team, along with the developer and the architect during the design phase of the project. This allows us to monitor the design of the project, provide costing as the project is designed, and then provide value engineering if required. Most of our work has been negotiated, with all savings being refunded 100% to the project owner. We welcome the opportunity to competitively bid any project.
As illustrated inside this website, we have completed new construction and remodeling of residential single family residences, apartment buildings, loft conversions, and condominium construction. We have an extensive amount of experience in commercial construction, both in new construction, additions to existing buildings, tenant build - outs, shopping center construction, shopping center remodeling, retail new construction and retail remodeling. We have also completed hotel remodeling, medical build-outs, school remodeling, restaurant construction and remodeling, and hundreds of thousands of square feet of office new construction.
Our clients include Kohl's Department Stores, Kinko's Copies, Prudential Realty, Coldwell Banker, Renaissance Realty, Oculus Development, MC Sporting Goods and Baird and Warner.
